Welcome Bartenders!

You’re here because you represent El Paso’s best, and EPG is searching to crown 915’s TOP DOG bartender. 

El Perro Grande Tequila is El Paso’s own award winning perro, Born in Jalisco, and inspired by the borderland. To celebrate our first year and being awarded 2003 BSA Tequila of the year, we are hosting our first ever Barktender competion!

We want to see what El Paso’s best can craft with chuco’s own tequila.

To enter the Cinco de Mayo Barktender Competition please enter your information below with the bar/restaurant you will be representing.

Supplies:Bartenders must bring all their own supplies and ingredients. El Perro Grande Tequila will be provided for use in their cocktail.

Mixology Freedom: Bartenders have full reign on mixology. Feel free to incorporate any other spirits in your cocktail creation.

Theme: In the spirit of Cinco de Mayo, we encourage participants to focus on El Perro Grande Tequila’s rich history, as well as Mexican culture and history.

Prize: The 1st prize winner will receive $200! Cash Prizes for 2nd and 3rd!

Competition Layout: Bartenders are required to check in between 6:00 PM – 6:30 PM. A lottery will be pulled for competition positions at 6:45 PM. If you are not present, you will be disqualified.

Competition Format: Each bartender will have 5 minutes to set up and prepare. The clock starts precisely when the 5 minutes are up, and each bartender will then have 7 minutes to prepare and present their cocktail to the judges. Once the time is up, they will have 3 minutes to clear and clean their space for the next participant.

Date: Cinco De Mayo (Sunday, May 5th)

Location: Rosewood 412 E San Antonio Ave, El Paso, TX 79901

Time: Check In 6:00pm-6:30pm

Competition start at 7:00pm

There are only 10 slots available so make sure to sign up ASAP or before April 19th. BE ADVISED, we are limiting Barktender Competition submissions to 1 bartender per Restaurant/Bar group. Good Luck!
